BACKPACKER'S SECRETS

Bear Grenade: pack a half-pound plastic jar of peanut butter just in case you encounter a mean bear.

Blacken the bottoms of your pots to reduce cook time and save fuel.

Filtering: Pour water through bandana to remove large particles of debris before using filter.

Frisbee works great as a plate and a camp toy (if you have the energy).

Remove your boots before entering your tent to save wear and tear.
